The 2023 ACM-BCB conference will be held in Houston, TX, September 3-6, 2023.

This year, the 14th ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics (ACM BCB) – the flagship conference of the ACM SIGBio – will be held in Houston, TX, September 3-6, 2023. ACM-BCB is being organized for the fourteenth year, building upon the success of the first thirteen meetings in various locations, including Boston, Niagara Falls, Chicago, Orlando, Washington DC, Newport Beach, Atlanta, and Seattle.

The ACM-BCB is a premier dissemination forum for interdisciplinary research linking computer science, mathematics, statistics, biology, bioinformatics, biomedical informatics, and health informatics. The past few decades have seen tremendous growth in the scale and complexity of biological and medical data including recent mainstream recognition of big data challenges. The 2023 ACM-BCB conference is dedicated to promoting “No-Boundary Thinking” to address science challenges with broad participation and frontier research linking computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, statistics, biology, medicine, bioinformatics, and biomedical and health informatics. ACM-BCB 2023 serves to showcase leading-edge research on new technologies and techniques around gathering, processing, analyzing, and modeling of data and information for a variety of scientific, clinical, and healthcare applications, from bench to bedside.

Drs. Byung-Jun Yoon and May D. Wang (Georgia Tech) will serve as General Chairs of ACM-BCB 2023, and Drs. Xiaoning Qian (Texas A&M) and Peter L. Elkin (University at Buffalo) will serve as Technical Program Chairs.
